Presbyter Survey: Help Inform 2027 Meeting Schedule
A survey on the format of our annual meetings is open through September 28, 2026. Responses will help shape the Presbytery of San José’s 2027 meeting calendar.
For the past two years, our presbytery has gathered under an alternative format: a mix of Zoom and in-person business meetings alongside our in-person NEAR (Nurture, Educate, Advocate, Resource) gatherings. In 2025, we held two business meetings via Zoom and two in-person NEAR gatherings. In 2026, we will have held two business meetings (one via Zoom, one in person), one special business meeting via Zoom, and two in-person NEAR gatherings.
Responses will inform two related questions before the Coordinating Council:
- The right mix of in-person and virtual business meetings for 2027
- Whether to continue suspending our current standing rules on meeting format
