World Communion Offering Grants Now Open – Apply by January 15, 2027
Applications for the 2026–27 World Communion Offering (WCO) Grant are now open through January 15, 2027. Grants support reconciliation ministries across the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) that align with the causes the WCO supports.
Congregations, presbyteries, and synods are eligible to apply. A council does not need to receive the World Communion Offering to be eligible, though each council may submit only one application per year.
FOCUS AREAS
Proposed ministries or projects should align with one or more of the following:
- Racial justice
- Gender justice
- Peacemaking
- Global witness
- Ecumenical and interfaith relations
DETAILS
Application window: September 7, 2026 – January 15, 2027
Award amount: $500–$1,000 base grants
Use of funds: Within 12 months of distribution
Review: First quarter of 2027, with recipients announced shortly after
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are submitted through the PC(USA) grant management system and take about 15 minutes to complete once the required documentation is ready. See the PC(USA) WCO page for the list of required documents.
Congregations and mid councils are encouraged to consider which local ministries or projects might align with these priorities.
