Immanuel House Refugee Project, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a Mission Partner of the Presbytery of San Jose since 2015. The mission of Immanuel House Refugee Project is to provide transitional housing to newly arrived refugees seeking freedom from persecution and the opportunity to thrive.
Immanuel House Refugee Project is run by an active Board of Directors and does not have a paid director.

Mission Remittance Form for congregations to use
Partnering with Bill Wilson Center at Westminster Presbyterian Church to provide a number of social services in a remodeled two-story classroom building. Construction is complete in September 2023. This mission project was launched by Administrative Commission for Downtown San Jose, who were tasked to reinvest assets from the former First Presbyterian Church of San Jose in downtown ministries. Westminster Presbyterian Church has partnered with AC San Jose, providing the site and contributing to funding. Westminster Presbyterian Church will continue facilities management and coordination with Bill Wilson Center.
Contributions to the Synod’s extra commitment fund 22542888 will help maintain the site and support the growing partnership in serving our neighbors.
Urban Works of Santa Cruz

Urban Works of Santa Cruz is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a Mission Partner of the Presbytery of San Jose since 2023. Trinity Presbyterian Church also partners with Urban Works Santa Cruz to support them by sharing facilities and resources.
The purpose of Urban Works Santa Cruz is to love their neighbors by cultivating community and providing care for the people of Santa Cruz through services, events, and recreation. UWSC seeks to integrate diverse groups and will focus resources on those who have special needs, experience homelessness or food insecurity, or are differently abled. Presbytery Hunger Advocate Rev. Ryan Althaus is the Executive Director of UWSC. Current initiatives include hunger programs, Cultivated in Creativity programs and sailing programs aboard the catamaran USS Salty Sheep.

Watsonville Public House is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization opening late 2023 in Watsonille, CA. Watsonville Public House is a downtown brewery and pub that provides a welcoming space for the community, especially those uninterested or unwilling to come to a traditional church. Revenues will support the mission purposes of the Presbytery with a focus on the needs of the South Santa Cruz county. The Executive Director (and Brew Master and Pastor) is Rev. Robby Olson.
