In the heart of Silicon Valley, San Jose Presbytery is vibrant, financially stable, and mission focused. We are seeking a creative, pastoral and experienced individual to lead us into our next chapter. The Executive Presbyter is responsible for providing leadership for the organizational and spiritual life of the Presbytery and is the Presbytery’s executive officer and Head of Staff. As Head of Staff, the EP will oversee personnel and volunteers while working collaboratively with our Stated Clerk. The EP will be a pastor to pastors, resource to churches, and assist with resolving congregational and pastoral conflicts. The EP will interface with Mid-councils, our Synod, and GA. Serving as consultant and resource person to the entire Presbytery, the EP will offer vision, guidance and leadership to the Presbytery of San Jose.
Eligible: A Minister of Word and Sacrament or Ruling Elder

Status: Full-time/exempt
Salary Range: $135,000 to $155,000
