Join Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church’s Director of Children’s Ministry and Inclusion, Jenna Burkhalter, in a 4-week Zoom book study for adults, Contemporary Topics in Kids’ Books.
These books below address four challenging topics: 1) body image and eating disorders, 2) sexual abuse of children, 3) queer families, and 4) racial stereotypes. You do not have to sign up in advance or attend all four weeks. You do not have to purchase the books, but they would make great gifts for children in your life or a local charity.
