2025 Moderator, Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Boatwright, was installed at the February 27, 2025 Presbytery Meeting Zoom.
Rev. Dr. Libby Boatwright, BCC-PCHAC is both a Minister of Word and Sacrament of PCUSA and a board-certified Chaplain with advance certification in Palliative Care and Hospice. She is the author of The Last Things We Talk About. Libby worships with First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View.

Presbytery Approved the Commissioned Ruling Elder Policy.
There will be four or five people in the Presbytery’s first cohort of Commissioned Ruling Elders.

- EP Neal Presa extended his gratitude to Rev. Andy Wong, Foothill Pres. San Jose, and Ruling Elder Rosaleen Zisch, Stone Church, for supporting the Presbytery’s Youth Triennium Delegation.
- All Minister members and Ruling Elders are asked to subscribe to the Presbytery Digest.
- On behalf of Mission and Outreach Work Group, Rev. Deborah Troester, Santa Teresa Hills Pres., San Jose, asked for congregations to put her in contact with the Elder or Staff member in charge of Missions and Outreach.
- First Presbyterian Church of Monterey hosts the next Presbytery-wide event: an in-person NEAR Gathering, May 3 8am-1:30pm.
