About this new Pastoral Accompaniment Program
An initiative of the COM, proposed by teaching elders Deborah Troester (Santa Teresa Hills) and Jack Cabaness (Covenant-Palo Alto), the Pastors Supporting Pastors (PSP) program is designed to provide confidential, immediate support and accompaniment to all teaching elders who are facing a challenging situation such as grief, vocational discernment, or a need for a listening ear. This does not replace professional therapy or use of our EAP-BOP benefits. A team of our fellow pastors have volunteered to serve as pastoral accompaniers.
