According to the Vera Institute, 10,000 immigrants in Santa Clara County have removal orders and 46% do not have legal representation. As a result, families are at an increased risk of separation, and entire communities live in fear of detention. The fear is urgent because:

  • Masked agents detained people on Blossom Hill Road in a second day of arrests.
  • The Supreme Court allowed temporary protected status for 500K Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans and Haitians to end.
  • The Department of Homeland Security raised arrest quotas for ICE Officers to 3000 per day.

Immigrant faith leaders of P.A.C.T. call the faith community together to demand access to more immigration legal services and a commitment from our County to protect immigrants and their right to due process!
