Board of Pensions Workshops to cover Board of Pensions plan changes for 2025
and related announcements.
Stated Clerk Rev. Erica Rader extends an invitation from Rev. Christine Long to Pastors, Clerks of Session, and Session Elders involved in Personnel and Finance committees who have an interest in learning about upcoming changes to the Board of Pensions benefits plan that take effect in 2025.
Rev. Christine Long is Board of Pensions representative to our presbytery. Her upcoming workshops review key changes to the structure of the medical and pension plan that will affect coverage and costs. The content of both workshops is the same; please sign up for one.

Board of Pensions has communicated about these changes in several ways, Rev. Erica Rader writes. “This news is likely familiar to many of you,” she adds. “If you have any questions about how our policy and these new changes affect your church and pastors, please be sure to attend the workshops and let us know if you need assistance from COM or our staff.”

- Employer Agreement Season, when the churches get benefits ready online at the Board of Pensions for the next calendar year, runs late August through October 4, 2024.
- Annual enrollment for the employees/ministers will be October 21 – November 8, 2024.
