New Grant for Mid-Council Leaders – World Communion Offering
A new World Communion Offering Grant opportunity is now available to support innovative ministry and mission initiatives across the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
Sessions, presbyteries, and synods are eligible to apply, either independently or in partnership with community organizations, ecumenical or interfaith partners, or other collaborative ministry organizations. Participation in the World Communion Offering is not required to be eligible for grant funding.
What Can Grant Funds Support?
Funding may be used for expenses connected to an approved ministry or mission initiative, including:
- Designing or launching a new ministry or initiative
- Expanding or strengthening an existing program
- Project-related materials, supplies, or modest expenses
- Outreach, education, or communication related to the project
Proposals will be reviewed based on eligibility, alignment with the World Communion Offering’s focus areas, and whether the proposed project is clear and achievable.
Mid-council leaders and congregations are encouraged to explore this opportunity and consider how this funding could support new or existing ministry initiatives.
