The Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos at 9:30 a. m. on August 26, 2009

and November 11, 2009, and February 10 and April 14, 2010.

Dates for articles for the Linkage are the same dates as the

PWP Coordinating Team meetings.

October 17,2009 12:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. Sunnyvale (Lunch)	FALL GATHERING—“Beyond Boundaries…our Mission” Gail Parker Marshall was our Synod’s representative to the PW Global Exchange to the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary in September, 2008.She will share her learnings and her experiences from this trip. Gail is a member of Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and has been involved with PW since the early 1980’s. Please join us to meet Gail and also to enjoy a time of sharing over lunch.

March 13, 2010 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. Santa Teresa, San Jose (Lunch)	SPRING GATHERING—“Beyond Boundaries…Breaking Barriers: Women and Religion in America”American Christianity, like most religions around the world, is shaped by a fundamental paradox: a majority female membership is led by a predominantly male clergy. But when viewed through the lens of women’s experience, religion in America takes on a different shape. And that shape is? Jim Bennett Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Santa Clara University, ordained Presbyterian minister and Parish Associate at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, will lead the way to the answer to that question.

I have been involved in the church all my life and called by the church for 40 years.” Mary Elva, now happily retired, served as Director of Women’s Ministry for the PCUSA.
June 6, 2010 2:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. Los Gatos	ANNUAL GATHERING—“Beyond Boundaries…a New Song” Presbyterian Women like to have fun! Come to enjoy a musical programpresented by the women of Harmony in Red! Harmony in Red began in 2006 as a group of friends getting together to sing for fun. They sing an eclectic mix of music from the Renaissance to the 20th century. We will also celebrate the conclusion of the program year with a short business meeting, Communion, and the Installation of the PWP Coordinating Team.
